The 1992 Constitution of Ghana guarantees every citizen powerful fundamental freedoms that cannot be taken away by any government or person. Knowing your rights is the first act of citizenship.

The Executive

275 Members of Parliament elected from constituencies across Ghana. They make laws, approve the national budget, and hold the executive accountable.

The Judiciary

Independent courts headed by the Supreme Court. Interprets the constitution and resolves disputes. Its independence is the pillar of democracy.

We retain subscriber data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months.

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:
